Quakers

Are you interested in protecting democracy and speaking truth to power? Quakers in Britain are recruiting a Civil Society Officer to campaign on democracy and civic space. You would coordinate and expand the Civil Society Voice network, a diverse group of civil society organisations who care about the right to campaign and to hold those in power to account. With the rise of the authoritarianism and movements that seek to divide and dehumanise, this work is more important now than ever.

We’re looking for someone with experience of facilitating networks to achieve policy goals. You will have a background in policy, public affairs or campaigning work. You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

You will have the opportunity to work within a friendly and collaborative team for an organisation striving for peace, truth, equality and sustainability in the world.
