As Reception and Administration Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of reception services and administrative support across St Joseph’s Pastoral Centre (SJPC). You will work closely with colleagues to create a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for all who use the Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the reception desk in line with Centre policies and customer service values
- Welcome visitors and students, ensuring a positive first impression
- Ensure visitors sign in and out in accordance with Health & Safety requirements
- Manage name badges for all Centre users
- Handle general email enquiries promptly and professionally
- Work collaboratively with the IPOP team on joint reception activities
- Support sales invoicing and process purchase requests as required
- Maintain stationery stock levels at reception
- Provide administrative support to SJPC and Caritas
- Provide cover for the Finance and Admin Assistant when required
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role

Essential:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience working in an office environment
- Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Publisher)
- Book-keeping skills
- Understanding or experience of working with people with disabilities
- Commitment to the mission and values of the Diocese of Westminster
- Sensitivity and respect for diverse groups
£14.80 per hour| Permanent | Fulltime | St Joseph’s Pastoral Centre, NW4 4TY | Closing date 25th May Midday| Interview date to be confirmed
