Old Parish Church is looking for a part-time Youth and Family Worker to strengthen links with families in the community through increasing the range of activities and support the church currently offers to families and young people.
This is a temporary post for a 12-month period and will be reviewed towards the end of that time with the possibility of extension. Salary is based on the Church of Scotland Ministries Development Staff pay for similar full-time posts. The starting salary will be at point 1 of a 5-point scale and move up the scale in annual increments.

Normal hours of work will be 18.5 hours per week and the nature of the work will require some week-end and evening working.
There is an Occupational Requirement for the holder of this post to be a Christian.

The holder will also require membership of the Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme.

Hours : 18.5 hours per week during school term time (38 weeks)
Salary – £10,792 annually
