Vicar of Crookham

Diocese of Guildford

The Parish of Crookham is looking for a new Vicar to lead a single church at the heart of our large, attractive suburban parish, on the eastern edge of Hampshire.
We are praying that God will send us a leader who:
  • Will build on the ministry and mission opportunities God has opened up in our worship, groups and activities
  • Is able to grow our ministry to families and younger people, while being sympathetic to the traditions of our church
  • Has a pastoral heart and will develop the faith, vocations and gifts in our congregation, and lead us in caring for each other and all in the Parish.
We are looking for someone who:
  • Is an enthusiastic and visionary leader and is also a team player
  • Has excellent communication and listening skills
  • Has a good understanding of liturgy, with the ability to be creative and innovative in adapting new forms of worship.
Please see the Parish Profile below for full details, along with a short video here from the parish.  If you would like to have an informal conversation please contact the Archdeacon of Surrey at catharine.mabuza@cofeguildford.org.uk
We believe that diversity is a strength.  We actively welcome and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds and identities, particularly those who identify as female, younger, of a UK Minority Ethnic/Global Majority Heritage, or disabled, as it’s essential that we reflect the diversity of the communities we serve.
