The Representative Body of the Church in Wales is seeking a receptionist to join the team, based in Callaghan Square, central Cardiff.

We are seeking a receptionist to be present in our office, ensuring the smooth running of the front of house. Reception is a busy area and we are seeking someone with interpersonal skills who can greet our visitors in person and over the telephone. There are numerous associated administrative tasks within this role that you will be accountable for. It is essential that you have some experience of working in a similar environment.

The reception role is varied and you will work closely with the HR Team to undertake a range of tasks that are key to the core functions of our office.

Essential

  • This position is office based, due to the nature of the role.
  • Applicants must be available to work in a central Cardiff location, 5 days per week during office hours.
  • Previous experience of working with people in an administrative function.
  • Willingness to study for an accredited health and safety qualification.
  • Willing to undertake fire warden and first aid training.
  • An empathy with the mission and ministry of the Church in Wales
