Isla Spey Deveron Group; Moray, Ross & Caithness is a group of 5 churches with one Vestry in rural NE Scotland. We are looking to appoint a Priest in Charge who can build on the unity within the group while encouraging the diversity of the churches.
We are seeking to appoint a Priest-in-Charge who is:
- A person of deep personal faith.
- Able to lead us in inspiring liturgical and musical worship.
- A thoughtful and gifted teacher.
- A people person who can encourage people to use their gifts.
- Enthusiastic about helping the congregations engage with their ecumenical partners and their communities
- Has experience of leading a group of churches
Within the initial period of this appointment and subject to longer-term financial viability the bishop may, with the consent of the Vestry decide to license the Priest-in-Charge as Rector.
