To lead, coordinate and develop the family, children and community ministry of St George’s, helping children aged 0–11 and their families grow in faith, friendship, and confidence as followers of Jesus.

The role involves overseeing and supporting our Sunday groups, building bridges between the church and local families, and developing creative opportunities for connection and discipleship in the community.

What You’ll Be Doing

Sunday Children’s Ministry
• Lead, coordinate, and develop our Sunday children’s groups during the 11 am service:
o Tots@11 (0–3s)
o Minis@11 (3–5s)
o Kids@11 (6–10s)
• Plan and coordinate materials and sessions in line with the church’s wider teaching and vision.
• Support, equip, and encourage volunteers and leaders serving in each group.
• Create welcoming, safe, and engaging spaces where children can explore faith, build friendships, and discover God’s love.
• Work with the wider leadership team to promote and develop a culture of inclusivity and hospitality for people with additional needs and disabilities throughout ministry
