Worplesdon Parish has two churches with distinct identities and a joint aim: to be increasingly vibrant, missional and intergenerational.
We are praying for a Rector who:
- has experience of growing congregations, motivating teams and leading change sensitively
- is Spirit-filled, servant hearted and able to lead us deeper in the ministry of the Holy Spirit
- will help us to be disciples who confidently share our faith, serve our local community, and build our youth and children’s work
- is pastorally gifted.
We offer:
- a great opportunity to lead our parish into growth, building on strong foundations
- an enthusiastic lay worship team, and a united team of wardens and PCC committed to helping you lead change
- support for the wellbeing of our clergy
- two well-maintained churches and a well-appointed rectory
- a great location, just 4 miles from Guildford.
