Self-Supporting Minister

  • Clergy
  • Wonersh

Diocese of Guildford

The church community in the parish of Wonersh and Blackheath is living out the call of God.  We serve through loving hospitality, caring service, clear teaching, developing discipleship, influence and mission in the parish.

We believe that God is leading us to use our facilities in new and imaginative ways.  The churches welcome people of all ages, but we sense a call to develop our mission to the seniors of our parish, that they can find faith in God, each other and be blessed.

We are praying that you would like to travel God’s pathway with us if you:

  • Love God and wish to share God’s message prayerfully, faithfully and confidently
  • Are prepared to try new areas of ministry to reach the seniors of the community aided by enthusing volunteer teams
  • Understand the unique challenges of a gathered church
  • Take part in leading and speaking at services in both of our churches
  • Have a collaborative outlook and enjoy being part of a team
  • This role may suit an Anna Chaplain membership

The parish is committed to God through worship and fellowship and is a progressive, supportive and fun environment.  We hold numerous special events and courses to bring community and church together.
