The churches in the benefice of Dorking (St Martin) with Ranmore offer a broad churchmanship with their own distinctive role and character.

We wish to appoint an experienced priest to lead us forward in the next stage of mission and ministry with:

  • An understanding of and desire to put into action all five Anglican marks of mission
  • A prayerful spirituality and ability to lead and encourage people of all ages
  • An ability to communicate intelligently the Christian faith and develop the sacramental life of all 3 churches
  • A collaborative style engaging with the whole community of Dorking
  • A desire for engagement with local schools and enabling the development of ministry with children and young people
  • A genuine pastoral heart
