The British Church Relationship Officer is part of the British Church Relationships Team. Reporting to the British Church Relationships Manager, the post holder will work collaboratively with other colleagues to support denominational relationships that span Britain and deliver tangible outcomes that contribute to the fundraising, advocacy and praying ambitions of Christian Aid.

This role is based in the UK on a homeworking contract or based in our London office. Christian Aid is currently trialing a hybrid working model and you will be required to attend the office for a minimum of 2 days per week with the option to work remotely for the remaining 3 days per week.

You will be passionate about justice and able to explain why people of faith can make a difference. You will thrive in a team but be confident to work independently. You will be good at networking and engaging with a wide variety of people. Your presentation skills and ability to communicate in an inspiring way will be called on as you engage internally and externally. You will be professional, capable and have a good sense of humour. Project management skills are vital to this role, so you need to be an organized person with an eye to detail who is at home in collaborative working.
