Older Person’s Project Assistant

If you have a heart for older people and have excellent administrative skills, this could be the job for you!

This role will involve spending lots of time with older people in our area, and effectively managing the administrative aspects of the project in all their various forms. You will work alongside the Project Coordinator to successfully carry out the project’s objectives.

Isolation in the elderly is a chronic problem of our age. The purpose of the Older Person’s Project is to demonstrate the love of God through St Luke’s Church, reaching out to the most isolated older members of our local community. We hope that through our Older People’s Project, all who attend will form make deep connections and supportive friendships. The objectives of the OPP are carried out through a mixture of socials, outings, activities, phone calls and home/hospital visits.

St Luke’s Kentish Town is a vibrant Anglican church in the heart of North London. The successful applicant will join a warm and friendly team made up of clergy and members of St Luke’s Church working together in a busy and lively office.

A DBS check for work with vulnerable adults will be required.
