The benefice of Hathersage with Bamford & Derwent, and Grindleford is looking to appoint someone to inspire and lead us in our worship, congregational life and the delivery of our mission priorities to:
- Nurture and disciple church members into a deeper relationship with God, enabling us to put our faith into practice in daily life.
- Equip people for mission and ministry, serving our communities and sustaining our Christian presence.
- Expand our mission and outreach opportunities amongst children, single people and families to help our churches to grow younger and more vibrant.
- Grow our churches; building new worshipping communities within our existing and new community partnerships.
- Reach out to visitors and walkers forming pilgrims who encounter faith through our built heritage.
- Lead our churches in challenging injustice and caring for creation through the Eco Church Awards.
- Shape our structures creating new and innovative ways of working together across the benefice.
