Diocese of Leeds
If you enjoy organised, detail-focused work and love supporting others, this could be the perfect role for you. We’re looking for someone to help manage and maintain our central database and oversee our DBS process – both essential parts of keeping our diocesan community running smoothly.
As our Database and DBS Administrator, you’ll play a key role in keeping our information accurate and up to date. You’ll work closely with diocesan teams and our parishes, ensuring data is well-maintained and fully compliant with Data Protection regulations. You’ll also be the friendly point of contact for parish queries, guiding them through annual processes and supporting the collection of essential information for the Diocese. In this role, you’ll maintain accurate records within our central database.
Within the People team, you’ll also support our recruitment processes by managing the DBS checks from start to finish. This involves working with parishes, the Safeguarding team, and Thirtyone: Eight to make sure everything runs efficiently and with care.
You’ll work alongside our Receptionist too, offering support during busy times, breaks, and periods of annual leave to help keep our front-of-house welcoming and responsive.
We’re looking for someone who is confident with administrative processes, able to juggle a varied workload, and keen to suggest improvements. Staying up to date with Data Protection and DBS requirements will be an important part of the role. You should feel comfortable working independently, while also enjoying being part of a friendly and supportive team.
