This is an exciting post for a rural pioneer to play to the strengths of a varied benefice just south of Dorchester. The church centre at Crossways provides opportunities for connections with the local school and the many new homes being built in the area.

The church in Moreton benefits from many visitors and weddings, and Woodsford and Tincleton are charming rural villages.

These are committed communities, welcoming to newcomers and the many visitors; here are faithful congregations, with a lively school and a determination to Make Jesus Known.

Reflecting the rapid change in the demographics of the benefice we seek an Interim Rector who has energy and vision. Over the next three years they will work with us to reimagine what ministry looks like in a growing community, who will build on the best we have and help us be the best we can be. We are looking for someone who will enjoy living among us to lead, inspire and enable.

This post offers coast, town and countryside, good local schools in the area and plenty of leisure activities around.  There is a committed team of lay ministers and a modern Rectory in Crossways.
